Jean Shepherd (who wrote the book) is of course the narrator as well. He makes a cameo in the movie when Ralphie visits Santa Claus in the mall. He’s the guy who says ‘Hey kid, what do you think you’re doing? The line starts down there.”
I got 2 facts off the top of my head. In the movie they say it takes place in Chicago, but it was actually filmed in Cleveland. There are tours of the house there. Also, there was no snow during the time of filming, so the snow they used is artificial.
Kawika Dav, I was just saying, but yah, that is a weird thing to say, though factually a less common area of human possibility. I read the character of Ralphie as being in competition with his father, who is also his friend, but always has the final say. He is a dad but probably somewhat dysfunctional. as I see it( admiring women, while objectifying, as little more than ‘living’ room ornaments) about the female leg lamp with the light being at the top(where the vagina would be), unless he’s saying tonguing a lightbulb is the same as felatioing a labia. I’m going back to my default keyboard, this update sucks. I had to respell your name and correct too many corrections . God what a nuisance. No offense to Pele. Keep it waxed. Ciao
2:16 #4 I always thought this took place DURING WW2. The old man’s bald tires (rubber rationing) and the X-mas tree vendor has a severe limp (war veteran)
Merry Christmas Kevin!:-)
Great video! Did you know there was a deleted scene in the movie with Flash Gordon?
Merry Christmas 🙂
Merry Christmas! Have a great vacation! And never see the sequel! That was made only for money, and man does it show!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Kevin! I hope you have a good vacation 🙂
Great job! Very Intersting, GIMME MORE
5 more great facts, Kevin. Did you ever see the episode of Mission:Impossible with Ralphie’s dad in it? Haha.
I’ve never seen it before. Yes I had no childhood.
Ah, one of my three favorite Christmas movies. The other tow being Die Hard and Bob Clark’s other holiday masterpiece Black Christmas.
These videos are awesome!
Since the guy in the video doesn’t mention it:
